The big jumping hill in Chaux-Neuve got a new inrun track!

The big jumping hill in Chaux-Neuve has received now its new inrun track - or better to say, its two new inrun tracks: one for summer and one for winter!

The summer one is made of polymers instead of the usually used ceramic. The one for winter consits of a special cooling system which allows to keep the track throughout winter in a stable condition. To form the ice for the track, just some snow and water mixture is needed to be put on top of the running cooling system. The "real track" will then be shaped into the ice by a machine. Such a cooling system permits stable and equal conditions for every athlete during a competition. And on top, no organiser has to fear anymore to have to cancel a competition due to a bad inrun track!

The athletes who are coming to the World Cup in Chaux-Neuve will have the pleasure to jump on a perfect inrun track when they arrive on site for the comeptition.
